Roof Certification / Inspection

A Roof Inspection can be requested from your insurance company for a home that is 25 years or older. The inspection will tell the integrity of the roof, any updates or repairs and if replacement is necessary.

We examine the External and Interior of the roof, shingle or metal.

Here are things we looks for: 

Leaks, wear and tear
Signs of sagging
Damage from heavy winds and debris
Missing or loose shingles

Algae growth or rotting under shingles
Interior ceilings and walls
Skylights and chimneys
Condition of soffit, fascia and gutters
Attic for proper insulation and ventilation any leaks and

Signs of water damage anywhere inside or out

For Metal Roofs we inspect: 

Loose seams, damaged flashing and rust

If you have done any repairs or updates, it would be a good to keep those records, permits and contracts for your insurance company and the inspector. It may also help to keep costs down on your Home Owners Policy considering their guidelines. Check with your insurance company.
